Healthy and Crunchy Spelt Filled Flat Bread

This is a wonderful recipe I got from the Dr. Sebi's community and I changed the recipe to make it better and really delicious.

With this very simple recipe we are using some left over chickpeas or garbanzo beans.  What I do is cook a kilo at a time and place the beans in bags in the freezer for later use.

So in a food processor add in 2 cups of chickpeas, 1 small zucchin that is shredded.  The original recipe used mushrooms.  So actually you can use any vegetable that is approved by the Dr. Sebi Diet Plan.

Now cook some quinoa.  Take 1 cup of quinoa and add in 2 cups of water and some sea salt.  Bring it to boil and leave it on medium heat until the water is absorbed.  It will not take long.  After the water is absorbed, remove the pan from the heat and add in the quinoa to the mix.

Pulse this in your food processor with some spring water.  When it is well mixed, add in a small handful of walnuts, 2 green onions (chopped) and some spelt flour.  You will keep adding flour until the right texture is arrived at.

Once you have the dough ready.  Take a sheet pan or cookie sheet and spray with some non stick spray and then make  your flat patties.  Cook in a preheated 350 degree oven for 20 minutes.  Then turn the patties over and cook another 20 minutes.  Makes approximately 6 to 7 flat breads.

The dish on the side of the paties is tri color quinoa topped with vegetables.  Yummy to the 10th degree.

For the vegetables I sautéed onions, butternut squash, yellow squash & zucchini. Seasoned it then added some spring water and let it cook until butternut squash is tender.  Add in some tri color quinoa and walah, you have a wonderful dish.
